Frequently asked questions
The questions we actually get asked on a discovery call, grouped by what you're really trying to figure out.
Getting started and cost
The first step is a Free Assessment. We'll hop on a 30-minute call to understand your current bottlenecks. If we see a clear opportunity for ROI, we'll provide a roadmap and a quote. If we don't think automation is the right fit for your problem, we'll tell you that too.
We don't publish a price list, because the honest range is wide enough to be close to meaningless: a standalone tool is a different job from a system that also migrates years of legacy data or integrates with existing accounting software. What actually drives the cost is scope, not project size on its own. See [/pricing](/pricing) for the full breakdown of what moves the number up or down, and why we quote after a scoping conversation rather than off a price list.
We focus on "Quick Wins." Most of our clients see measurable time savings within the first 2-4 weeks of an engagement. Larger system integrations typically take 8-12 weeks to fully deploy and optimize.
How we approach the work
Absolutely not. In many cases, a simple automation script or a better CRM configuration provides a higher ROI than an AI model. We only recommend AI when it’s the most effective tool for the job—such as for voice transcription, complex scheduling, or data extraction.
No. We are a consultancy and implementation partner. We don't believe in "one-size-fits-all" software. Instead, we analyze your specific workflow and either configure existing tools (like your CRM) to work better or build custom automation bridges that you own.
Our goal is to automate the "busywork"—the repetitive, manual tasks that your staff likely hates doing. This gives your team the breathing room to focus on high-value tasks like sales, customer service, and field work, allowing you to grow your revenue without needing to increase your office headcount.
This is one of the most common concerns we hear. We build systems that work in the background. Your crews shouldn't have to learn a complex new app. Whether it's voice-activated notes or simple SMS-based updates, we design for the reality of a busy job site, not a tech lab.
Integrations and technical setup
Perfect. We prefer working with your existing tools. Most of our work involves building "bridges" between your CRM and other platforms (like your phone system, website, or accounting software) to eliminate the need for manual data entry.
Absolutely. Most of our operational automations end with a "bridge" to QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage. We make sure that once a job is closed in the field, the invoice is drafted and the job costing data is pushed to your accounting software exactly how your bookkeeper wants it.
We are software and systems specialists. While we configure the software for your VoIP lines, digital receptionists, and POS integrations, we typically partner with local hardware installers if you need physical cabling or specialized kitchen displays mounted. We handle the "brain," and make sure it talks to the equipment.
Yes. We have experience with GTA-specific portals like Toronto's SAP Ariba, Biddingo, and Merx. While we can't "hack" the portals, we build the internal systems that extract your certifications and past performance data so that filling out these complex forms takes minutes instead of days.
Data security is paramount. Since we build custom bridges that you own, your data typically stays within your existing secured environment (like your CRM or protected cloud storage). We don't sell your data or use it to train "public" AI models. Your client list remains your most valuable private asset.
Ownership and ongoing support
Yes. Any custom code, automation systems, or AI agents we build for you are "work-for-hire." You own the intellectual property and the data. We believe you should never be locked into a vendor's proprietary system for your core business logic.
Yes. We offer monthly performance retainers where we monitor your automations, ensure they are running correctly as software versions update, and provide ongoing optimizations to increase your ROI.
Yes. Every implementation includes a documentation package and training sessions for your staff. We ensure your team feels comfortable with the new workflows and understands how to get the most value out of the systems we build.
